BiCT is the acronym of Biological and Chemical Technologies, highlighting its biotechnological and chemical skills aimed at developing competitive and sustainable industrial processes for the application of enzymes (free and immobilized), production of peptides, and secondary metabolites, and pharmacologically active ingredients. These types can represent both products owned by BiCT directed to the market and research services under contract or co-development with customers and partners. In recent years, BiCT has combined its Research and Development (R & R&D) activity with a production activity aimed at developing natural hydrolysates and blends with innovative plant extracts, characterized by antimicrobial and prebiotic activities, for use in the veterinary, cosmetic and nutraceutical sector.

Born in 2016 in Milan, Vegea is an innovative Italian start-up to promote the integration between chemistry and agriculture by developing new eco-sustainable plant-based products, alternatives to fossil-based materials for applications in the fashion, furniture, and packaging automotive and transport sectors.
The business model of Vegea is based on the development and industrialization of an innovative, economical, and ecological process for the production of biological, cruelty-free and biocompatible polymers starting from the exploitation of biomass and agricultural by-products.
